Elbow

The elbow can be a common source of pain. Tennis Elbow and Golfers Elbow are two common injuries that involve the elbow. There are multiple ligaments, tendons and muscles around the elbow that can become irritated, inflamed and cause significant pain. Additionally, dislocations, joint dysfunction, ligament strains and development of scar tissue can cause pain and dysfunction. Pain originating from the elbow may be felt around the joint or extend down into the forearm and hand. Numbness, tingling, weakness and sharp pain may be present.
