How much will it cost?
Upon receiving your specific insurance information our billing specialist will identify your physical therapy benefits. Every insurance plan is different and so will the amount that is covered. It is common to have a co-pay associated with each visit that will apply to your annual deductible. Our goal is to make the process as easy for you as possible and will deal with the insurance company for you. On your first visit our billing specialist will fully explain your benefits and what will be covered.
What is Direct Access?
You are the most important member of your own health care team, and you are entitled to choose the most appropriate health care professional to meet your goals. This means in Tennessee, you can come directly to Physical Therapy without a physician referral. Your physical therapist, yourself and referring provider will make the decision as to the frequency and duration of care you should receive. Many factors will be considered when determining the recommended frequency and duration, including your diagnosis, age, surgical procedure, overall health and severity of injury. Our goal is not to see you forever! We understand that healthcare can be expensive and time consuming. We want you to achieve a full recovery as soon as possible for the most affordable price possible. We are committed to treating you efficiently. Our goal is to empower you so you can continue with a home exercise program as quickly as possible while ensuring that your injury is effectively addressed and resolved.
What should I wear?
We use a combination of exercise and hands on techniques that will require you to move. We recommend loose fitting clothing that allows us access to your body part that is injured.
How long will each visit take?
Your first visit will be a comprehensive evaluation and last about 1 hour. We schedule patients for 1 hour sessions for all subsequent visits. We are prompt with our visit times and understand that your time is valuable. We have a comfortable waiting area but don’t plan to sit around for us!
Who will I see for each visit?
At Chattanooga Physical Therapy we are committed to providing the highest quality care, which means you will see a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy for every visit. We believe that having a one-on-one session between one of our doctors of physical therapy and each of our patients for the full hour session gives them the most individual and personalized care possible. We think you’ll agree!
I have been using Chattanooga Physical Therapy for several years to help me with my never-ending injuries: two shoulder surgeries, a broken ankle, and a chronic lower back issue. The physical therapists have been very knowledgeable in providing therapy for these various injuries. From stretching and deep tissue massage, to dry needle therapy, the results have always been positive. Dry needle therapy was done after my last shoulder surgery to wake up the bicep muscles that had been intruded upon during the surgery. I so enjoyed this therapeutic session, and the success it brought, that I requested the same dry needle therapy be applied to my lower back. The results have been very favorable. Both physical therapists are considerate of your needs and provide a positive experience. The office manager in charge of scheduling is absolutely incredible and special in many ways.
I suffered with unbearable back pain for months. I went to therapy at other places, but the relief was temporary. My doctor referred me to Chattanooga Physical Therapy. Paul and Caitlyn are awesome. They genuinely care about their patients and all parts of your life. The wellness plans are customized to the patients needs. They give you the tools and skills necessary to become healthy again. Chattanooga Physical Therapy is a place of healing and restoration. Thank you!
When I first came to Chattanooga Physical Therapy- I was having severe headaches, after a few visits, my headaches are completely gone! Paul and Caitlin are the best!! I recommend them highly!!
Caring & effective - thank you for all your help and sage advice
I started out as a non-believer...but quickly saw that the pain in my arm started getting better. Then I was able to move it over my head, and now I can even use it for lifting things! I am thrilled with what Caitlin and Paul are doing!
Chattanooga Physical Therapy is the best place to go for rehabilitation. It is a wonderful place. They will get you in shape. Before my knee surgery and therapy, I couldn’t do much because of my knee pain. I could walk from the parking lot to my car and that was about it. Now I can go up and down stairs, walk 1 mile, get out of chairs, squat, lift and drive. You also have to want to do the work.
Excellent care and attention to individualizef plan for health, as well as future quality of life. You feel counted and important to them, not just another "body" to push through a cookie-cutter routine. Dr. Caitlin Caverra and Dr.Paul Iverson are both extraordinary DPTs! I highly recommend them!
Ask for Jason. He is excellent.
wonderful and healing! the therapists are attentive and engaged, and genuinely care about each individual they work with.
